Anyway, if you need any Walmart ammo. head over to the CGN 'Ammo and Reloading' F/S section, there's plenty and it only costs 2-3x more.
Any shortage now may be CA specific, but I took a cross country trip in May 2009 and in Ohio the WM's were OUT of everything except a few boxes of rifle calibers, and in Springfield, MO, where there is a WM on every cornre, I het up three WM's and all were out like the one in OH. Long gun rack was full of new guns for sale, though. No waiting period, damn!

I heard there is ammo near eastern Oregon in Bend. I'll be heading up there at the end of the month so I'll be stocking up.

When the Nintento Wii first came out, they had plenty up there in eastern Oregon.

Just a fyi to everyone in Ca. that I discovered after calling the 7 Walmarts in my area everyday for a month or so: The best time to call is between 9:30 and 10m.

By that time, they have the new stuff on the floor and are off loading the pallets. You can also ask them to check their lists as they can tell what has come in.

I was told this info by some of the employees at the different stores. As a result, I was able to buy .22 and 9mm, tho I did have to go to the store after 10pm. I realize this will be difficult for those of you who work days, but they often times have the ammo then and they will hold it for you under your name for about a hour or so. And yes, there is a limit on the number of boxes now.
