Not sure how accurate BC measurement will be if it only tracks out to 100yds. $499 - seem similar to LabRadar pricing lately.

The Garmin Xero C1 is the way.

It uses chirp technology. 100 yards is enough.

Still too big. I'll stick with the Garmin.

Release date is in May. I was looking at a non optic chrono option this year, may wait to see the reviews and real world test results for this unit. Will be interesting to see how accurate it is, and how well it works compared to the Garmin and Labradar options. Lastly very interested to see how accurate the BC option is in reality.

                Wow well done Labradar!

It's a hundred bucks more than the competition, and doesn't measure bc.

Well, well, well lots of options popping up in this category. Will have to wait and see how these units test out. The Garmin seems to get great reviews for reliable readings, ease of use and operation, but seems to be the least functionality. The new LabRadar and Caldwell looks interesting, but will have to see how well they work.

I'm surprised there's not a phone app for $29 that works just as well as any of these but guess we're not quite there yet? These remind me of when I used to have Garmin maps box sitting on my dash before we had it on our phones.

This technology is improving very fast, and shrinking!

I have an original Labradar and really like it a lot. I will wait to upgrade until the next generation comes out in 3 more years!?

Garmin and Labradar will compete for smaller footprint, more features, and lower price?. And as consumers we will win!

Caldwell was selling their Velociradar around 2020, and then it was discontinued. I wonder if this new model has staying power and I am curious why their old radar chrono was discontinued.

The real question is whether the old optical style of chrono will still survive in the marketplace.

I predict an app for a few bucks relatively soon. Problem is, it's such a small, niche audience. If we had more reloaders, we would have had an app that's better than all of these boxes years ago, but thinking as an app developer, lot of work, really small, older, generally not as electronically savvy audience so how would you make back your development costs and go into profit?

I doubt you would be happy if your phone emitted radar.
