    Nice
    Thanks for the good read
I learned something new about the early DC9's (sling location)
and WOW my 22 is worth the same as my 9.
I'd wager not CA approved with the cool looking round weight added.

Not unless she's registered, or that's been blocked off to 10 rounds.

The Tec22 was one of the most under appreciated firearms ever commercially mass produced.... they can be quite reliable and a whole lot of fun.

We do pay a bit more for them in CA, but its a gigantic pain in the hindquarters to get discontinued out of production firearms into this state.

And a LOT of people simply refuse to believe that some of this stuff is legal when properly CA compliance converted.

We're still waiting to be handcuffed and dragged off to prison for selling so many of these 'illegal' firearms..... they must have budget issues which prevent them from shutting us down or something

The original Swedish product was one thing, but as time went by quality suffered.

I know a guy that has one of the few pre-86 sales samples of the MP 9 full-auto version, and the thing runs good with the original magazines, less so with the later Interdynamic US made examples.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

The magazines are a HUGE issue, the slop between the later mags and the mag well caused the feed angle to shift and jams become more frequent. (particularly as many shooters tend to grap the magazine as a forward grip, which shifts its position dramatically)

Ironically a lot of the reliability issues come from the ridiculously tight chamber cut into most of the tec9 barrels and the lack of a popper feed ramp in the later pistols.

Some post sample owners have corrected this by installing a Sten MKII front end into their AB10's/DC9's and the sloppy chambers and more rounded feed path tend to fix all the issues.

I have an AB10 upper and a STEN MKII front end that will eventually get played with for personal use in a closed bolt configuration... but customer orders come first and we havent had a lot of 'free time'.... eventually I'll get it done and post a writeup.
