Should I keep a case of 45ACP on backorder?

I suppose this boils down to a post on "What do you think is gonna happen with the ammo situation?" and I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but I've got a case of 45ACP on backorder and I can't decide whether or not to cancel it.

It's 1200 rounds of WWB for $505 (shipped) from Cabelas, so that puts it at $21/box. Right now that's about as good as it gets... if it gets at all, but I might not even break it open until next year at the rate I shoot. Maybe supply & pricing will have come back by then? Even if they stay the same I could just buy more then and keep the money in hand for now.

I'm on the fence.

45ACP is going to be cheaper one year from now. You heard it here first.

about a month ago 9mm was hard to get. i have now seen it my last 2 walmart trips.

45acp will be coming back soon enough.
