2 separate gun purchases in 30 days?

I purchased a socom16 about 2 weeks ago, and im thinking about buying myself a .22 rifle. i remember reading something about buying 2 firearms in 30 days but i cant remember what, and im having trouble finding the right info on the .gov site. can someone throw some info my way? thanks!

Hi. That just pertains to new handgun purchases, and it's one pistol a month. Even private party transfer of pistols are exempt. You can buy as many rifles as your credit card can handle at one time.
