    Stopping NRA junk mail.

I filled out the email at their "contact us" page to told them to stop. I was one of those where they make you fill it out so YOU don't have proof like with normal email, which is always a bad sign. Didn't have my expired "member ID".

Seems like basic Op Sec that you don't want God Knows WTF at USPS or WTF at your apts or mailbox seeing those nice letters that say "This person has a gun collection at this address". Knew a guy who got his mail at one of those big rows of mail boxes at trail head of private road. Seems some old lady liked to go through other people's mail, as sort of a hobby, so she'd have something to chat about if she bumped into them. Seems as long as she didn't steal any she could play it off like "all these mailboxes look the same".

Not only does USPS eyeballs mean it could go to local PD, but it likely means Antifa, BLM, ADL, UN, WHO, WEF, local street gangs, school board commies, Woke Corporate HR Blacklists and WTF knows all get CC in the data. Who needs that?

Also, general Op Sec and "loose lips sink ships" about owning guns, especially in these times and especially in CA. I always wince when someone starts blabbing about their guns in a setting where they don't know WTF the other people are all about. What if things go sour, and some Woke "Karen" figures it would be cute to Red Flag or SWAT you? Do any police encounters that include "Do you have any guns at this address?" not end with gun grabbing?

I wouldn't even blab about guns if I was at a hotel out of town. I've watched enough "The Rockford Files" to know there are lots of ways someone could snake your home address if all they have is knowing you are at some hotel.

Put your postal worker, gov't snoopers, etc. at ease when you get back. Find something on the other end of the spectrum you can subscribe to. Get your social credit score back up!

When you fill out an online form to stop junk mail, you can take a screenshot. You can send the NRA a traditional email or a letter both of which you have a copy of. If you are concerned about excessive Karens you can start the process to receive most everything electronically. You can also sell all your guns and play electronic video games to simulate, all from your basement on a dark winter night.
Or you can choose to not let the Karens live rent-free in your head, exercise your rights, tell the police NO to the guns question, and say FU to the leftist world.

When I lived in Germany for three years, their socialist government had a sticker you could put on your mailbox.... "Keine Werbungen" No Junkmail.
And the PO couldn't give you any.

It should be forced here as well.

It's been a while since I was an NRA member but I do remember the stacks of thick junk mail they sent out. It was nuts.

I'm a Life Member and I still get the magazine, and I throw them away, they're boring as sh*t. But I haven't received a text, email, snail mail, etc from the NRA in years.

Life member and I only get maybe 1 or 2 pieces of mail from them per month. How come you are so special?

On a positive note; gives ya something to grumble about.

The 1st Freedom magazine certainly used to be better on content and expertise, and more volume of it, especially with detailed analysis of legislation and/or judicial action.

It's quite sparse now, more like an advertising flier for them and a bunch of stuff nobody buys (doesn't even have Harbor Freight coupons anymore.) However the quarterly CRPA magazine is really good; very worthy and has some heft to it.

In any case, I still save the 1st Freedom mags; at some point if I have to report for Jury duty/court, a government office, a Doctor's office, AAA, or anywhere else with a waiting room or area (especially anywhere that imbibes a Leftist bent) - I cut out my name/address, then take several of them with me to leave among the other magazines lying about.

Good 'leave behinds' to spread the word, and maybe shake up a few Libs in the process.

I like that. It will most certainly stir up the leftists.

Kaiser rarely has mags in the waiting areas. I always take a gun mag. or two and accidently forget them when I leave. I also remove the shipping label. Doesn't hurt to spread the love a little.

Lying to Police can be fairly serious crime. Buddy once tried to give a phony name to get free medical care at County Health and suddenly two cops appear and he tries to stick to his fake name...ends up doing 30days trash pick-up.

If cops ask you a question that anyone would LIKE to tell them "no", but that its likely they have info to the contrary, Plead The 5th.

IIRC everyone that got in trouble in the Trump Admin for Russia-gate and other hoaxes got in trouble for "process crimes", AKA some DA's interpretation that they lied or didn't comply with court order, etc.
