PPT at Vacaville location

i'm meeting a guy for a ppt transfer and Vacaville is the middle location for the 2 of us, just wonder what dealer you guys recommend for a handgun transfer there. Thanks.

Too bad the mid way point isn't San Rafael, I would say go to Bullseye but that isn't in the Vacaville area.

I would recommend driving a little further and going to Metco #2 in Fairfield. I'm aware of only one current FFL in Vacaville - Guns Fishing and Other Stuff. I prefer not to give my money to GFOS, they keep telling people that OLL's are illegal and that I'm going to jail for having one.

On the other hand, perhaps you should go waste their time with a PPT that they are required to do, seeing as they are only making $10 off of it.

It's your call, and both places charge the correct $35, I just don't like the attitudes at GFOS.

ETA: There is going to be one more gun store in Vacaville, they have a planned opening date of 8/15. I haven't seen any updates since the beginning of the month, so I don't know if that is still correct.

x2 on using Metco #2. I had a great experience there last Saturday doing a transfer.

I did a PPT at Guns, fishing, & other gear in Vacaville today. Pleasant and fast, $35 for the PPT.

I guess you have a 50/50 chance for Guns, Fishing and other stuff.

I have been there before (this year) for a PPT and they said yes over the phone but changed their mind when we got there. The buyer even offered to buy a new gun from them and the answer was the same.
