Time and time again these buybacks have shown they do nothing but provide good media to the anti gun movement. This funding can go towards so much more to help in crime, homelessness, and mental health which would directly have an impact on gun violence. Instead they prance these buy bucks out, get media coverage take advantage of lack of knowledge older folks that turn in very nice c&r weapons which will never be used in mass shootings or crime in general. So I personally do not support any of these tactics that disarm the populations and give legitimacy to the anti 2A movement. The fact they use the term "assault" rifle on the flyer in itself should be a red flag to anyone that wants to participate in this sham. But hey that's just me and my opinion

Why has the AARP not sued since they take advantage of the elderly and severely underpay the market value of the guns that are turned in. Cops there know damn well some of the stuff turned in is worth $$$. This needs an elder abuse case.
On the firing line- depending on the day, determines which side of the line I'm supposed to stand on!

Yes. I would participate under those circumstances.

Well I, for one, have exactly the same opinion.

Folks, please, PLEASE do not participate in these anti-gun "buyback" operations, even if you are only turning in worthless junk. They are nothing more than gun-grabbing media photo-ops.
