Places to shoot near Fresno?

Hi. Fellow calgunners. Im not sure if this is the right spot for this. Mods please move this if its in the wrong section.

But I was wondering where I can shoot guns around or near Fresno/Clovis?

I have a membership at the Pistol Range, and I know about the range in Auberry, but I was wondering if I can drive out 20 mins or an hour out somewhere, and just shoot, for free, legally. Handguns, shotguns and rifles..

Call your local BLM office and ask them, I also believe they sell maps.

The US Forest Service office is on Tollhouse in Clovis, give them a visit. Sierra National Forest is only 30 minutes away!

Well, I called the office in Clovis, and got all the info. Thanks CJ Cake.

Sorry thing is, because of the fires, and its marijuana season, its not a good idea to be trotting around Sierra with guns right now. Later would be better and less troublesome/dangerous..

And instead of 150 yards distance from a camp ground, I think they said 2 miles from a establishment. Kinda far.. But I get to shoot for free, and legally.. Soon I hope..
