This is not a pistol thread (Hellcat), it's more like an experience thread

Bottom line, I recently discovered that Hellcats are now legal in the great State of Nuisanceland. The Black Friday sales are over, why not check out my local Turners to see if I can make it happen? So I go there and what's this? The sale is over and there is STILL a line! I get inside and there is only two sales clerks (I have seven people ahead of me). It takes more than thirty minutes for the two clerks to handle two transactions. The guy next to me is getting angry. My time is valuable to me so I give my ticket to the angry guy who has a higher number than I have. The long and the short of it pretty stupid on the part of Turner's. The more deals you process the more money you make. Maybe a good idea to have more than two clerks???

Turner's could have a lot more people working for them if they didn't make it so crappy to work there.

I was tempted to get a hellcat as well and wondered how bad the gun shops were. One of my guns is from Bass Pro......never, ever, never again! The others are from Turner's and sometimes they were slow. Last month 2A Zone in Upland had the rifle I wanted, in stock. I still had to wait a while without an appointment but they had at least 5 people helping customers. They took care of everything as fast as possible and were very nice to deal with. Needless to say, that is where I will go when I buy another firearm. They have a store in Riverside also. Obviously, the OP may not live in the area.....can't see locations on mobile web site.

This exactly. Vote with your wallet, don't go to stupid stores and let them fail.

My out of state parents gifted me a Hellcat pro this year. Love the gun so far. Did the transfer with a home based FFL. Easy Peasy.

They really do a good job there at 2AZone ( I miss the days when they worked out of their house) If you can make an appointment it's so much better.
If they don't have what I need I'll usually order it (price match) and then make an appointment. I've been in and out in 20 minutes several time.

Turners used to have a store in Rancho Cucamonga behind the Costco. I think one of their warehouses is there. I bought several guns there and never had a problem. I knew most of the counter guys and gals, they were all very nice and worked hard to get your gun drosed and released. When they moved to Ontario, just south the the mall things went down hill fast.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

When you support turners you?re supporting a chain and a chain that doesn?t really care about customers. People should make an effort to support the smaller gun shops. A lot of people maybe surprised that some of the smaller shops have better pricing and for sure better customer service than turners.

If we as a gun buying community don?t support our smaller gun shops than one day we will only be left with larger shops like turners. I personally avoid turners at all cost.

F*ck Turners, f*ck bass pro. 2AZone are awesome dudes, they're squared away, helpful and quick when you need them to be. I refer everyone I can there, and they're a "small business" too, so you're doing the community a solid.

Do yourself the favor and avoid turners every chance you get!!

There are some good people at Turner's. Some have gone. Some have returned. Catlyn is a perfect example. I'm tempted to hire her away from Turner's.

So bottom line, I went to Turner's two days in a row. Worse than molasses. So I said to myself, "Why not try Ammo Bros.?" I did. Took me 15 minutes. Turner's is an easier drive, but they're losing my business.
