    Barrel condition

    Looking at a 7.62x25 m-57 and I’ve attached a picture of the barrel. What condition would you say it’s in? Really interested in this round and the pistol looks solid!

    For a real evaluation, more views are needed. That could be pitting on the right side land, or not. It might be lint, or solvent or not.

    There’s just not enough context for detail. It does look like the edges of the rifling are just fine.

        Looks pitted but all that will do is contribute to bore fouling

          It looked a little rough to me, but Its an old surplus pistol. Figured it was decent but not spectacular
