    1911/2011 Gunsmith.

I?m looking for a knowledgeable 1911/2011 gunsmith to install a flat faced trigger in my Staccato P. Specifically looking for someone in southwest RivCo (Elsinore, Murrieta, Temecula, Menifee) area.
    TIA

Victor at Riflegear will do that if you would take it down to Fountain Valley.

I can do that job while you wait if you setup an appointment to come over to my place in Van Nuys.
It's not in your desired area, but you only have to make one trip.

I appreciate all the replies. I was able to secure the Staccato armorer for a local PD to assist in the install.

D.A.V.I.D. The trigger is from EGA (Everglades Ammo). It is the trigger that Chambers Custom Pistols uses on his 1911/2011 builds.

          Thanks again

Nice not aware of that one or how the adjustments are made. Was just going to say it’s pretty simple with Staccatos and the ones I’ve done didn’t need any filing they just fit right in. Reason I was going to recommend doing it yourself is because you could make the pre and over travel adjustments yourself. Some triggers are only going to let you adjust the pre travel pretty easily with out disassembly. Vs getting it however who installed it decided to put it. And someone can correct me if I’m wrong but pretty sure even though they’re a staccato armorer you’re still voiding the warranty.

If you can detail strip a 1911/2011, you can install a new trigger even if it requires fitting.

That depends on your confidence in your competence at fitting.
Some don't have the confidence to go at a firearm with files and stones.
I have put in lots of 1911/2011 triggers and the good triggers come oversized so you can fit the shoe to have minimal slop without it dragging.
