    Xm556 microgun - what happened

What happened to Empty Shell? They developed the fully functioning 5.56 minigun that was allll the rage in cool factor, then completely fell off the radar 7 years ago. Anyone heard or seen anything since?

    WTB S&W Model 10 or S&W 357 (of various models) 3 or 4" barrel.

Wow..10" barrel. That is sweet. How small can you get a 24v battery pack and weight with 2,000 rounds?

I suppose you could go with the "redneck" option

Interestingly, GE tried to make one in the 60's but the external ballistics didn't quite the applications (e.g., helicopters). They did try to market it for vehicles and infantry.
