    Is this primer drag?

If you still have a non compact Glock can you have a look at the spent casings. Is this what you see ?

Totally normal. Glock firing pins do not have a return spring, they are retracted by the pin tip being wedged backwards through the primer as the barrel unlocks and drops down. That is why the firing pin tip is arrow shaped.

      Is this primer drag?

I had no idea there were drag primers. Are there also trans primers? LGBTQ primers?

That would be the common primer flow imprint that Glocks produce. Normal

Looks strange. That kind of side force on the firing pin does not look like a sound design choice but what I know?

That is firing pin tip drag and it's completely normal on glocks because the firing pin is not withdrawn back into the breechface until after the case is ejected.
Guns with spring-retracted firing pins will retract the firing pin before the case is ejected so the firing pin tip will not make a drag mark in the primer.

Time has proven that it's not a problem.
Glocks from the 1980's do this just the same as glocks from the 2020's.

Looks like you have one happy and healthy GLOCK!

As long as it is hitting the center of the primer and the primer indent is reasonably deep, you have nothing to worry about. Most domestic ammo/ primers exhibit deep indent compared to foreign made ammo/ primers.

Keep your Glock clean and properly lubed as instructed in the owners manual. Don?t over lube it!

                  Change your OEM springs…
Gen 1-3 RSA: every 2500 rounds
                  Gen 4 & 5 RSA: every 5000 rounds
All other springs, up to 15000 rounds
                  Change other parts as needed.

                  Happy Glock, Happy Life!

                    Yes.

It is not really primer drag but the Glock Firing Pin.

                        ,,,nuff said right there.

As many have already pointed out, It?s a normal ?fingerprint? of a Glock. Glocks have been that way for 4+ decades now.

When people talk about bad design choices on a Glock they usually mean the grip angle or bore axis or just blocky design, but I think OP is the first to mention firing pin.

My gen3 Unsound Design Choice-17 has been chugging along for a while now, leaving a trail of rectangular primer hits in its wake.
