How much ammo can I sell to a FFL in california?

I apologize if I put this in the wrong section. Please move to the correct one if necessary.....thanks

Ok, I've tried to use the search feature But it's not been available to me for some time now So I just gave up on it.... Onto my question.... I have a few large lots of ammo in different calibers I would like to sell off . I know that I cannot sell more than 500rds in a month To an individual And it has to be done through a FFL... What's not clear to me is if I can sell more than 500rds to a FFL or C&R holder Or whoever is exempt from that law ,Face to face... Or am I not allowed to sell more than 500rds regardless of who it's to?.....thanks

Is there a chance the buyer would complete the transaction and then report you to the police?

      Under CA laws...

While in CA, in order to legally sell more than 500 rounds within a 30 day period, the seller must be a CA DOJ licensed ammunition vendor or a CA FFL dealer. [PC 30342(a)]

The only exemption to this is when the seller sells the ammunition to a CA DOJ licensed ammunition vendor or CA FFL dealer due to a restraining order that requires them to no longer be in possession of any firearms/ammunition. [PC 30342(b)]

      Penal Code 30342
      (a) Commencing January 1, 2018, a valid ammunition vendor license shall be required for any person, firm, corporation, or other business enterprise to sell more than 500 rounds of ammunition in any 30-day period.
      (b) Subdivision (a) does not apply to, or affect the sale of, ammunition to a person who holds a valid ammunition vendor license by a person in order to comply with Section 6389 of the Family Code.
      (c) A violation of this section is a misdemeanor.
