Strikeman Dry-Fire Laser Training System

Does anyone use something like Strikeman Dry-Fire Laser Training System? There are multiple brands ranging from $40 to a few hundred $.

Any thoughts, good or bad?

I don't use any of the full programs. Instead, I use a Pink Rhino laser cartridge with a free target app (called G-sight) with my own targets. Works great to practice first shots from low ready or holster. (This one does not do timing splits but it is not an issue if one has to re-rack the slide beaten shots.) I used this to prepare for CCW quals.

I am looking at Mantis X. I like the live fire option with the mag set up to get data from the holster at something like Action Pistol practice.

I have just started using the Dry Fire Mag Smart mag. we have an affiliation with them and its a pretty good system if you take your dry fire seriously.

There will be a bunch of people that will come on here and say all the best shooters dont use any special doodads or lasers but thats a bunch of crap.

You obviously get better the more you shoot but if you had an unlimited supply of ammo like the top shooters then by all means shoot away.

If you dont definitely work on trigger press with and without a laser but understand what you're doing.

Personally I dont like the lack of continuity in trigger press having to rack the slide so something that will reset your trigger or simulate it with the aid of a wireless laser like the Dry Fire Mag Smart mag makes it much easier to be fluid with your practice. Yes its a little pricey but as I said if you take your dry fire seriously its worth it.

I've also coupled it with www.dryfireonline.com and you definitely need to check that out as it can set up firing strings for you as if you're at the range.
