Need help finding a special buffer tube

Looking for a buffer tube that has a longer rail on the bottom for a custom application.

In the attached pic, I show a standard buffer tube, the lower rail is about 5" front to back.

I'm trying to find a buffer tube that has a lower rail that is 6-1/4" or 6-1/2" long

    Anybody have any suggestions?

The 7 position Vltor A5 tube is longer than a standard tube.

I doubt it is 1.5? longer. But maybe it puts you on the right path.

The Smith & Wesson M&P15 CA compliant buffer tube is a rifle length buffer tube the shape of a carbine buffer tube.

It has a solid chunk at the back so it works with a carbine buffer but there's a few extra inches of length compared to a standard carbine buffer tube.

Bingo! You're the man Randall! Exactly what I'm looking for.

Now, which one of you guys has a CA compliant M&P15 buffer tube in your spare parts pile?
