As long as all you want is beef jerky and turquoise jewelry they’re great.

There are no good gun shows left in CA. Lots of turquoise jewelry, beef/turkey jerky, stun guns and cheap eastern european leaded crystal... Best gun show in the Southwest IMHO is the SAR show in Phoenix the first weekend in December. I heard that some of the Nevada shows are good but I cant speak from experience.

I save my money all year. Go to the Big Reno show in August. Worth the trip to me. Have an 03-FFL and COE. Bring a lot of ammo back. Good show for actual gun stuff.

Liked the Grand Sierra better than the Nugget. Don't feel like the show has come back to what it was before Covid.

True that the GSR is a lot better but I stayed at the Nugget last August and it sure was nice going from my room to the gun show in about 3 minutes. Not too mention walking around the show with a cocktail in my hand!
