If you were able to take advantage of that one week in 2019 then yeah, but if you're buying mags now, then it's 10 max.

I stocked up well in freedom week. Hell I bought mags for guns I don’t even own yet. However if we ever get this law overturned I want to have 10/17 mags already on hand so I don’t have to overpay or wait a year after CA depletes the current supply.

I haven't researched, but are mags date coded? Would the authorities be able to determine by model, newer vs older? I know technically only 10 rounds currently, but how would they know the difference of when you bought them?
