It's an absolutely useful service.
Some folks use affiliate links and make a few bucks...others don't. Either way, good for them (as long as they are transparent).

I would expect if you were needing a new rototiller in the last month, you'd be beside yourself with the "non gun" deals posted.

Last I checked, Calguns is not a singularly focused community but one with strong commonality.

Believe it or not some people buy things other than gun stuff.
