Dros delayed 2 times in a row!

Hello everyone, this is my 2nd gun purchase and one day after the 1st delay was initiated I performed a livescan and my results came back with nothing except that I performed a life scan in 2013. Anybody ever had this happened? I was able to take delivery on an undermined on the first delay on the 31st day of the delay.

My last one was delayed for two days. The last time I bought guns without the NV CCW it only took a couple hours. But something changed in 2022 with the "Safer Communities Act" and a bunch of RINO senators screwed us. With a delay your local police department gets notified and it feels like they're delaying as many as possible.

I have a friend who cleared up his record from over 40 years ago. When he went to buy a handgun DOJ said "Undetermined." Three times.
I helped him file a request for eligiblity & he got live-scanned. They ignored it.
He found an FFL who would release the handgun to him if DOJ said "Undetermined" after the legal time limit.
      DOJ came back "Denied."
      They won't say why.

What?s crazy is I waited approximately 2 weeks from picking up my first gun and they hit me again with this b.s. Thanks for the reply, so I have hope they won?t infringe on my 2a for the full 30 days.

DOJ does not have to give a reason for DELAYED.

DOJ DOES HAVE TO GIVE REASON FOR DENIAL.

What is the likelyhood of this purchase being released prior to the 30 days? This is my 2nd gun purchase and 2nd delay

I am on my phone so can't see where you are from but since you said you bought a 2nd gun 2 weeks after picking up your 1st, I am asumming not California. If you are, that is probably the reason...again, assuming (probably should stop doing that) it is two semi auto centerfired handguns or rifles.

Yes that's correct. I waited the 30 days the two weeks later dros'd my second gun. My first purchase was a franklin armory ca320 (sig p320) and the second was a juggernaut tactical ar15 pistol. I live in california. Thanks

dude, you are dealing with a regime that wants you completely disarmed. there's not a lot you can do, they do what they want. your best bet is to move to America.

California uses NICS to process background checks the same as every other state. The only time you would be able to get around NICS is if you get a CCW in states that allow that as an alternative. Even in states with so called "constitutional carry" you have to go through a fingerprinting and background check to get the CCW. NICS is broken pretty bad right now for the entire country.

There's no place you can go to escape this.

The people doing the background check for a CCW are the same people who run NICS.

                      You aren't escaping this.

We recently moved to Tennessee, after getting my permanent address, drivers license... I applied for my ECP online, was informed to attend my 8 hour class then to get my fingerprints.

When my fingerprints were done, she said it would take 7-10 days for the background check, 2 hours later I received an email my background check cleared and my ECP would arrive in 10 days

Not perfect but way better than when I lived in San Diego and got my CCW

                        Good luck

You need to do the leg work to find the reason for the delay, and fix it. When you get an undetermined result after the delay it's not fixed, and will trigger delay until it is.

Generally this is going to involve contact with DOJ to figure out the cause. Then a live scan to see if there is any issues, if not correct them with DOJ. Until that gets done you'll probably get a delay every time, and there is no guarantee that will solve it either.

I did a live scan during the first delay around 6 weeks ago.the results came back that I didn't have anything on it, except I performed a livescan in 2013 for an aerospace job. I'm former military and currently a licensed Aircraft Mechanic by the F.A.A, but I no longer turn a wrench with not even a ticket on my record for approx. 20 years.

Do reporters need to attend an 8 hr class and get a background check before they write articles or post things on the net or in print ?
