I have one and it?s been solid and reliable. One of my SKS models was made in China. To not buy this based on that seems hypocritical.

True, I?m betting you got a few Chinese models in your stable. After all like most other blondes, it?s only a hair die away.

True story when I was stationed in Korea there was a small club in one of the smaller villages/towns near the DMZ. It had a beach/surfer theme, all the working girls had bleach blonde hair and best of all was the Tuesday night two for one special.

MGnG said that Savage built the factory in China, so I would think they're fine. The reviews I've seen are pretty good too.

Some people might actually prefer this version. No Pic rail or barrel shield, but it has ghost ring sights, and I think all versions have drilled and tapped receivers so you could probably put a less bulky optic mount on it.

I am always envious of folks in SC that can just stroll into the local PSA store and cash and carry whatever awesome deal of the day they've got. PSA does ship to CA but as BP stated, the shipping and FFL fees will often negate any price savings.

Shipping to me is $18 and NO tax.
Kitchen table FFL fee ca $15

raises total price around to around $150. And take home immediately.

Still, a lot cheaper than I can get for locally at LGS... Around $220 + TAX

Probably so in most of kali. The shipping is pretty good with PSA, probably 20 bucks or so. My ffl charges ten bucks, again, not in kali.
