    Kore gun belts

I wanted to take a moment to give an unpaid endorsement to Kore gun belts - they are a quality product that allow discreet adjustment of the sizing without need to undo the entire belt.

On occasion I find it helpful to adjust the sizing of my belt when out and about, whether because I've had a nice meal, or I just didn't get it right at first. The Kore belts utilize a ratcheting system that makes it super easy to tighten - just tug on the loose end. Loosening is almost as easy, you first release the ratchet by pressing a lever, then adjust to suit. Equally important is the degree of sizing the belts allow. Single clicks that I believe are smaller adjustment than found by typical belt hole spacing. I've discreetly adjusted my belt in public while carrying, no worries.

I have no affiliation with this company, nor do I stand to profit from this endorsement. I just wanted to share a very positive experience in the hopes that others might gain from the information.

I've tried a couple holster designs, and likely will try a couple others thanks to posts made here on CalGuns. While I am new to the whole CCW experience, I feel the Kore belt has made a much greater difference in my overall comfort level than the holster.

The company website is here: https://www.koreessentials.com/

I own this particular model: https://www.koreessentials.com/produ...orced-belt-set

This particular model appealed to me both for it's technical competency in carrying a pistol, but also because it looks like any other belt.

    Hoping this post helps.

I have the Nexbelt EDC and its similar. Bought it a year ago during prime day and it's been great.

When fat season comes I can adjust it more than a standard 5 hole belt.

Carried with kore for years. Nextbelt is way better. Either is better than a regular belt.

I have a early 1.5" gun belt and it has too much flex but they didn't have the stiffer ones back then. It has held up with light gear and I like the adjustment after lunch. I am going double belt for everything beyond edc and I don't see the need for micro adjustable on a double belt. Also an AWS is half the price of their double belt and American made.

I have two of them. I like the dress belts for times I need to look professional.

Can u please elaborate why u think the next belt is better. I have the same belt as the op and would like to hear your opinion before I invest in something else. Thanks.

How do the components hold up over time? And by time I mean four or five years down the road of daily wear? Or do you not know yet because you haven't had the belt that long?

I've heard some complaints about either the ratchet mechanism failing or the little clicky track down the center of the belt not holding up? Have you noticed any issues with those?

I use kore for work as I dress professionally but they lose shape and start looking ratty pretty quick. By 6mo I want a new one by 12 mo I toss it. My Nextbelt has proven much more durable but isn?t dressy enough for my work.

I have the leather belt with a inner band for ccw, and the canvas fabric belt for about 4 years now. No issues, nothing broken, no sag. I wear it every day.

I've only had mine for a couple of months. I've not noticed significant degradation, but it's... only a couple of months.

I have worn a different ratchet belt made by a different company for about a year and a half now. Only relevant to Kore in that they share similar ratchet mechanisms. That different belt remains in good shape, the ratchet mechanism has not observably degraded.

I have a few Kore's now and they are my go-to in the summer. I still like to wear leather belts and big buckles, but that dang ratcheting buckle is so awesome!

I?ve got two carry belts and one dress belt from them. They are really comfortable, have a lot of adjustment notches and seem to be holding up pretty well.

Got a 3 pack of KORE imitation leather for Xmas. Nice but kinda meh. I have an older Nexbelt also and prefer it to the KORE for stiffness and ratchet mechanism as well.

That?s a lot of money for a belt. But I?m sure it?s high-quality and lasts for a long time.
