how do you sell a long gun

I got my computer stolen from my house a few days ago and need to replace it, the only way i can get the money is to sell one of my rifles, i have never sold a gun before and was wondering how this is done?

I am going to put my rifle up for sale on these boards today or tomarrow. I had the same rifle up for sale a few weeks ago but changed my mind about selling it, but now i needthe money. Its a Cali legal FAL i have only had for a few months.

Anyways any advice on how to sell the damn thing would be apreciated, as much as i hate to sell it. Thanks

FFL holders are required to do face to face private party sales. if the buyer is not local, have them obtain the services of a FFL holder, get a blue-ink signed copy of the FFL, and you just send it to the FFL holder. he takes care of the rest.
