Neither are CA legal -
The Recover Tactical (top link) is considered a SBR under Federal and CA laws.
In order to be CA legal, it requires BATFE approval for a SBR and CA DOJ Dangerous Weapons Permit for SBR.
Mere possession of the chassis and an unattached pistol that can utilize it, is still considered possession of an illegal SBR.
The Meta Tactical (bottom link) is considered an assault weapon under CA laws.
In order to be CA legal, it must be configured so that it does not meet CA's definition of an assault weapon.
In addition, because of CA SBR laws, once it is made into a rifle, it can not be made back into a handgun because doing so will cause it to be an illegal SBR (weapon made from a rifle).sigpic
