Help me choose my CCW gun

I have a Shield and a Kahr CW9. I shoot pretty well with both of them. Both seem pretty nice and they are comparable. Both feel pretty good in the hand.

The problem is I can?t decide which one to carry. I?ve been going back-and-forth and I just can?t decide. It?s like deciding between an all night pajama party with Christie Brinkley, or naked Twister with Cheryl Hines.

What say you wise people???

I carry a 365 owb. Carry what is comfortable for you. Like most of us in CA, especially in Bay Area, carrying is a new concept. So, comfort is most important to me. The ability is shoot well is important but at 5-12 yds, just about any gun that doesn’t malfunction will get the job done.

Of those two I'd go with the Shield..

I usually dress very casually so I like to carry things that don't print with just a T-Shirt. My primary is an Sig p365XL, backup is a Glock 26, Glock 19 & 45 are on the CCW as well if I am dressed for colder weather.

My neighbor just showed me his Shield 2.0 (LASD) it's a nice gun. It seems a lot lighter and slimmer then my G26. His is a single stack, are they all SS?

I find for me it’s all about the holster. I have a cross draw from andrews leather that goes strong or weak side, steel ring for reinforcement, super comfy (as these things go). It fits my 5 round XDs 45. I have a shield w a beautiful elephant and beaver tail (bt is imo prettiest leather out there) and an alien crossbreed knock off). I almost always take the 45. I just love the holster.

If I had a gun I didn’t think would get the job done I wouldn’t have it on the permit. I just need to get off my *** and get a cross draw for the shield as its lighter and more rounds.

I was kidding, you know how you always like to throw Glock into none Glock threads.

Of those two I?d go with the Shield, I?ve owned both a Shield and PM9. For me it was the Shield by a bunch, much prefer the manual of arms and trigger on it.

Another plus with the Shield is it has the same manual of arms and trigger as your 19. The Kahr is night and day different.

Carry an M&P Plus Performance Center and find that's been my preference for many reasons over all the rest.

I took most of my CCW test with the Glock. I also qualified with the Shield and Kahr. The Kahr feels best in hand. All have been trustworthy so far. I am indecisive.

The Shield is single stack (7-8rnds); the Shield Plus is double stack (10-13rnds).
