How did Ruger get 3 new pistols on the roster?

I saw a post today from a LGS saying that the Ruger LCPII was now in the roster and they have 2 available.

I guess I?ve been out of the loop, but how did Ruger get 3 new pistols added to the roster?

We have all three models in stock and the answer is they are 22 so it's easy, don't worry 9 mm stuff is coming soon too

Is that because the state is not perusing micro stamping now?

Yes, the good news is that microstamping is no longer required.
The bad news is this could be very expensive for many of us.

        My list is already starting.

I?m starting my list with a Sig Legion series pistol.

Thankfully I paid off all of my credit cards last year.

Due to the recent Federal Court rulings and what was or was not stayed in those rulings while they are being appealed, semi-auto pistols require the following in order to be listed on-Roster:

Semi-auto centerfire pistol that does not have a fixed magazine needs a positive manual safety that meets Federal requirements for importation, needs a CLI, needs a MDM, and needs to pass CA safety testing.

Semi-auto rimfire pistol that does not have a fixed magazine needs a positive manual safety that meets Federal requirements for importation, needs a MDM, and needs to pass CA safety testing.

I am hoping the Springfield SA5 or other Hi-Power clones become available. I have an FEG that will take almost all Hi=Power parts. I replaced the sear in it with a Browning part. I think the slide catch/release is one of the only parts that won't accept the Browning one. But I want another one....The only issue is the LCI, I believe - but since it has an external extractor that should bulge out on a round, maybe that could count? And the safety testing, of course.

Note that CA does not require a LCI, CA requires a CLI.
^Even though all CLI are a form of LCI, there are technical/mechanical differences that prevent almost all LCI from being considered a CLI. [PC 16380]

                Examples...

                CLI (meets CA requirements)

LCI (does not meet CA requirements)

                Penal Code 16380
As used in this part, “chamber load indicator” means a device that plainly indicates that a cartridge is in the firing chamber. A device satisfies this definition if it is readily visible, has incorporated or adjacent explanatory text or graphics, or both, and is designed and intended to indicate to a reasonably foreseeable adult user of the pistol, without requiring the user to refer to a user’s manual or any other resource other than the pistol itself, whether a cartridge is in the firing chamber.
