Anyone know why Chip McCormick halted production of their drop in TG's? And what's different about the Gen 2 tg's?

I may be wrong on this one, but I think they are still selling their single stage. I've read they had some problems with their two stage, although mine works just fine, and stopped productions of those.Originally posted by capitolAnyone know why Chip McCormick halted production of their drop in TG's? They were having a QC problem and stopped selling them until it was resolved. I've shot them they seemed creepy and a hard pull. I'd buy a RRA trigger even though I don't care that much for the two stage.
Good luckI move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.
When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.Comment

Randy,
I just ordered a JP Enterprises single stage hammer and trigger set from Midway and a set of KNS pins from Brownell's. They're both supposed to arrive tomorrow, so I have a weekend project. The trigger pull is supposed to be 3 lbs and there should be no takeup or overtravel. From everything I researched, the JP single stage trigger should be awesome. We'll see! I don't like the two stage trigger either. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Have a nice day.Comment
