    Does it hurt me?

Hey guys, so a couple of weeks ago I was excited as I bought a gun that I thought was the px4 compact... turns out, it's not and its the subcompact one. Idk why, they put in their title that it was a compact so now it was really a waste of time and now I'm wanting to sell it back to the marketplace at a loss. Just disappointed. But, honestly these things happen all time. I wanted to know since I bought it and will sell it a few days later, does that hurt me in the long term of getting approved for another firearm? I mean, in their eyes "you just bought a gun and now you want to sell it after a few days? Why would we approve you?" or it doesn't work that way, the approval process is ran by a AI or a person?

I've never sold a gun before but I know that both parties have to go to a FFL. I don't know how the person will give the seller the money, maybe the buyer give it to FFL person to verify then to me? I don't want it to be under the table that's why, I know you can't give cash from person to person like off the street. I do know some paperwork have to be done. I just want things to go smooth and that I won't be reliable going forward after selling the gun.

You can do 2 things. All have to be done at the FFL anyway so they'll run you through the process:

    1) You can consign it, where they show it at the store and take like 20% of the sale price. My store had me transfer the gun to them through a dros (to themselves) and had to wait 21 days or something. When they sold it they cut me a check minus their 20%.

    2) You can do a Private Party Transfer where you make a deal with a buyer, usually on Calguns and meet at the store. They will charge the other person the transfer and dros fee. You have to be in the system and do paperwork as the seller but no fees should come from you.

    3) You can keep it and wait for prices to go sky high next year right before November then do 1 or 2.

Take payment in the store after the dros paperwork is in process?

It fits my hand but still a little bit smaller, the compact is just right in the middle and also it has the rotating barrel that I want, the subcompact has it tilt. Defeats the purpose of having it. The full size and compact has it but the subcompact doesn't.

PPT usually more money. Already losing money, consignment doesn't make sense to me. Oh I see, okay thank you!
