    Pelican 1600 case question.

By any chance does anyone know if Pelican make a case similar to the 1600 in all dimensions EXCEPT the depth? I want this to carry my AR broken down, and I've seen pictures I like the layout, except I dont need the extra depth.

Thank you everyone. I've browsed their website but to no luck. Maybe it doesnt exist.

The depth is for the foam.

I understand that. do they make a case with similar dimensions, just not as deep? kind of like the 1490 just wider/taller?

Here's some dimensions just for comparison:

          Pelican 1510:

Usable Inside Dimensions (at parting line of case):
          20.2"L x 11.4"W x 7.5"D (1.75" Lid over 5.75" Base)

          Outside Dimensions:
          22"L x 14"W x 9"H

          Weight (Empty): 12lbs.

          Pelican 1600:

Usable Inside Dimensions (at parting line of case):
          21.88"L x 16.88"W x 7.75"H - (1.75" Lid over 6" Base)

          Outside Dimensions:
          24.25"L x 19.43"W x 8.69"H

          Weight (Empty): 14.11 lbs.

          Pelican 1690:

Usable Inside Dimensions (at parting line of case):
          30.88"L x 26"W x 15.25"H - (3"H Lid over 12.25"H Base)

          Outside Dimensions:
          33.36"L x 28.44"W x 18.23"H

          Weight (Empty): 34 lbs
You'll probably want to look at one of the following Pelican cases:

          1510, 1560, 1600, 1610, 1620, 1630, 1640, 1650, 1660, 1690.
