    PSA - Safety Recall - Taurus GX4

FYI if you own one of these

“It is not currently known just how many GX4 pistols are not drop-safe or the exact reason why the issue occurred.”

Lots of people in free states.

For those curious, it's a striker block issue so if you know what you're looking at you can inspect it yourself.

The GX4 is one of the more popular micro-compacts. The optics-ready version is a good deal.

I have a GX4. It a fantastic little shooter. It’s absolutely on par with the P365. I’m about 1000 rounds through mine and perfection. I have a late model production which is probably why it’s not affected by the recall. I’ve contemplated selling bc I have a lot of micros. But every time I hold it, I just can’t separate from it.

Maybe the GX4 is just trying to grow up and be a Sig P320.

Except the GX4 doesn't have a couple dozen lawsuits pending for AD's and is about 1/2 the cost.

Except you can't get it with a manual safety. Which is better for my checkbook.
