Have 1948 vintage 1911 38 super. Came to me with a micro rear sight, and I'm wondering if the dove tail cut for the rear sight is the same for the Micro sight as it is for the stock rear sight of that era. Thanks in advance for any info...Bill

Beelzy. If you read my 1st post you will see that I said the 1911 came with the Micro sight. Believe me, I'm very happy to have it as is, a shooter, but would be even happier if it was still original.Comment
