    Featured locked mag rifle purchase?

My friend wants to sell his DPMS rifle which is considered a "featured rifle" meaning collapsible stock Foward grip and everything else, but there is a screwed-in magazine that loads from the side and loads if you have the upper off of the lower. Is he able to go through a gun shop with me and sell me this rifle as it is?

Magazine must be fixed in manner that upper must be opened to feed mag. A screw on outside does not cut it. Sell disassembled dros lower only hand buyer upper. Let him sort it out.

The screw on the outside is not what it is. The magazine has a screw that is accessed when you take the upper off. I guess it's one of these
