Looking for a gunsmith to pin n weld pin and weld aluminum compensator

I want to install a compensator on a threaded barrel permanently, but the compensator is aluminum. I searched there are ways to do that, is there a gunsmith near bay area that can do that?

Good luck. It took me forever to find someone to do this 2 years ago.

The person who welded for me got out of the business

At some point people were posting Triple R metal fabrication in Martinez did this, and I was able to make contact with the owner once to confirm this but I was not successful at coordinating a time to meet up.

Aluminum and steel react to each other in a bad way long term.

Out of curiosity- what firearm and what comp?

        Thread on the process

Is there a guide in here explaining how to perm attach a flash hider using 1100 degree silver solder? I don't want to pin&weld or weld it. I'm pretty sure I know how to do the 1100 degree method, bu

What specific muzzle device and what specific gun?

I perm attach aluminum muzzle devices to steel barrels all the time.
          Particular details matter though.

If it's a pistol with a removable slide, you can ship me the slide and barrel for the perm attach as long as the comp attaches to the barrel with set screws or some other method than shims.
I do not perm attach parker mountain comps because they come loose when the shims loosen up from live fire.
