SIG M17/M18 military clones
Tags: None -
So it's the M17 and M18 already on the civilian market but with the cage code and other additional markings. (and lack of the P320 mark).
It's also cut to take a different red dot (The SIG Romeo M17 vs Romeo 1 PRO) There is a major difference between these two optics. Though I would ask if any service member was issued the red dot with their M17/M18? If so what unit were they with?
It's not too much more expensive; $679 for the M17 on the website's link, so for the guy that has to have an exact clone, it's a good deal.Last edited by CGZ; 05-19-2023, 9:49 PM.Comment

I have one of the genuine surplus M17 military pistols as turned in by the Army:

And one of the Sig's commemorative M18's made in the original configuration well before Sig released the updated spec Navy M18 overrun pistols:

As I see it, the production overrun M18's are not clones as they carry the same serial number prefix as those purchased by the Navy. The commemoratives like mine would be considered a factory clone.MLC member.
Biden, proof that stupid people shouldn't be allowed to vote.
