    tube fed AR .22

If I'm not mistaken, the 10 round ammo capacity does not apply to tube- fed rimfires( I think all rimfires, .22 for sure)
So why doesn't somebody make a tube fed .22 AR
It could have a magazine for looks of course

Tube fed is harder to load. You have to unscrew the cap and pull out the tube and then you can drop the rounds in. Plus I think the max is 15 or 16. If it's just something to have then I wouldn't mind a tube fed .22 rifle but not an AR.

Besides, with a .22 rimfire there's no need for a mag lock, so you can change 10 round mags fairly quickly anyways.

Good point, by the time you reload with the tube you can change your mag and shoot off 3-4 rounds

Because it's a pointless endeavor. Rimfire is not classified as a AW.

That's why GSG-5 is selling like hot cakes.
Mag can be dropped free with evil features.
'Cuz big holes are easier to see.

The tube-fed exemption is for all .22 caliber tube magazines, both rimfire and centerfire. So .17 caliber rimfires are not included.

Cool Idea but expensive to design. Probably not worth the $$ for extra 5-7 rounds
