Has anybody ever seen a cobblestone Glock frame?

Has anybody ever seen a Glock 19 frame that has cobblestone texturing? These are interesting, and I see them with certain vendors. I wonder if anybody has seen them before??

Yes, but it was called "coral". Many things are possible with a 3D printer.

These ones are marked in Glock. There?s different vendors that sell them. All of the stiple on it looks exactly the same. Even down to the small intricacies of the stools work.

That's definitely stools work, for sure.

I have yet to see stippling work on a Glock, or any other polymer frame gun that doesn't look like a mound of stool samples.

I'd say that's a Laser engraved OEM frame, not 3D printed.
Many laser engraving patterns for glock frames are available as "shareware" files, so anyone with a proper laser can produce the exact same pattern.

              CUSTOM Cobble Stone Stippled

I'm not shocked that they don't mention the frames won't have a Glock warranty should they crack.

You think a new gun would have a full warranty- my guess is that the aftermarket warranty voids that warranty

Once I bought a Shield Plus PC, the new "Sandpapery" Smith grip texture made stippling look pretty stupid. It's very grippy without tearing up your skin or your clothing. Same with my new Ruger Max 9, I think the Shield texture is a bit better but it too has a pretty good, gritty texture that sticks it on your hand, even when wet or sweaty. Stippling seems like a 500lb solution to a 10lb problem.

It is not done by the factory if that is what you are asking. Just another stipple job in the land of stipple jobs.

I still think the talon granulate grips are the best. youo won't get a more secure grip , especially if your hands are wet/sweaty/bloody, and without any permanent alteration or risk of loss of frame integrity.Highly recommend them over any stippling.

I have a pretty hard and fast rule with my guns that I won't/don't do any modifications that permanently alter the gun. I have yet to see a stippling job that would justify the expense and I have seen more than a few that have basically ruined the gun.

I think the worst for me was the early second generation Glock G17L that was stippled to within an inch of it's life, turning a $2000 gun into one that was pretty much worthless.

I don't know if Glock still offers it, but they used to sell guns with what they called the "Rough Texture Frame" which had a more aggressive factory texture to the grip area.

Personally, if I find a grip to be a bit slippery on a polymer gun, I buy one of the inexpensive rubber Caloosa Gun Grips grip tape, available on ebay for $9.95. It's what I did with my G48, it has been on there for three years now and I am quite satisfied with the way it makes the grip feel and it's longevity.

While some are done at a factory with machines or lasers, most are done by hand - and look like it.

As such, they are 'hand jobs'.

Yeah, I backed out of the deal. It?s not warrantied by Glock and the seller wanted too much money. He also wanted to sell extra mags that came with it so in order to get two mags I had to pay extra. He also wouldn?t meet me halfway and wanted me to pay for his gas. So be it.

I was really looking for a just plain stock G19 anyway. I?m not big on stippling or any other permanent modifications to a firearm.
