    Sacto, Sly Park

Anyone been there lately? Any muddy or closed roads that would stop a sedan?

We still have mud in town in Sac so I’m sure Sly Park still has it.

I'm thinking Sac is pretty flat and at sea level, maybe Sly has good run off or natural irrigation.

The Mormon Emigrant Trail out of Sly Park is open to Pebble Canyon. The dirt road closure is extended to May 1.

I would think if you still on the paved road to the normal shooting spots, you should fine in a car. I was going to say should wait a few weeks to go on dirt to explore or to your favorite shooting area, but there is a dirt road closure until May 1st anyways. Probably a good thing since they got a lot of snow this year.

If anyone goes soon, post how it was.

Verified, I called and they said the same. Probably May1, dirt roads closed. Only thing is, it is technically paved all the way to the spots I usually go to. Albeit there are a bunch of pot holes.

yes, it is paved to the normal closer shooting spots, and paved many many miles past that if you want to stay on the pavement.

July now, anyone actually go out there to shoot yet? It's 45mins for me but if someone has verified that it's now open this it would be very helpful.
