I've been out of loop lately. I'm hoping to get back to shooting soon.
Just been a hectic few yrs for me.
For a while I've been going featureless. But I think I want to change things up. I never liked the fixed mags versions that were offered at the time when I was in loop. But I searched online and came across this.

Never heard of this before. I was wondering what is your thoughts on this? Anyone that has been using this, have you guys had issues using the compmag? Looking to buy for my AR and ar10.

I'm personally not a fan. I would rather use a device that breaks the action like the juggernaut hellfighter for compliance on an AR. I like to be able to just pop in a fresh mag instead of constantly reloading. On AK's you're a little more limited on options if you don't want to go featureless.

i have one and it works fine. if your not finicky when transporting it (portion of it will stick out of a bag) to the range then it's good to go.

Works great.
The only thing I dont like is that it only loads on the left feed ramp, as the mag is a single stack. I guess this is only bad if you want equal wear on the feed ramps, and want to test reliability of the alternating load sequence.

Featureless. No restrictions on mag usage or round count.

Fixed mags are still limited to 10 rounds.

Telling them to go featureless is pointless as they already know about it.

Fixed mag has gotten better with the advent of the Hogue Freedom Fighter.
Combine it with a Juggernaut's takedown pin or the kingpin and you get to keep your bolt catch and standard mag release catch and button which means you can clear malfunctions properly.

I do Hogue Freedom Fighter drilling, tapping and installation fitting.
