    Possible bad ammo, ZSR 7.62x51

Looks like at least four rifles went kaboom.

I wasn't sure where to post this, in Caliber Corner or here, so I apologize if this isn't the right forum. Sounds like a big problem from ZSR Ammo. Two separate guns, a Springfield M1A SOCOM and a Zastava M77, both had exact same kabooms with the exact same Lot # ammo from ZSR. Glad these...

The Turkish MKE ammo used to be OK, no worse than PMC anyways.

Turkish M80 ball labeled as ZQI was cheap at $9.99 a box from Walmart several years back . It shot decent through all my semi’s and I still have a good stash of the 4-5k rounds of it I had ..At the time if I went into a Wallyworld I couldn’t help but clear the selfs of that stuff , didn’t think I would ever see 7.62 /m80 boxer primed brass case range safe ammo for less than 10 bucks a box .I never ran into issues with it but this looks like recent production ammo.

I've got a case of 308 that has caused me some grief in three different rifles. Very stuck cases, I'm guessing from overpressure. One I had to send back to the factory, the others I was able to get out with several days of soaking in kroil and some hydropressure to push it out. Annoying. Probably have 2-300 rounds left of it I don't want to run in most guns. It isn't ZSR.
