Well, I finally sold my Sig P220 to a respected member here and I was thinking....Cool, cleared another space in my very crowded safe....
Left work a little early that day so decided to kill time at a gun store....Big mistake....
Ended up buying an Bubba-fied Enfield.
Thing that caught my eye besides the $95 dollar price tag is the fact that it was an older well used No4. But the stock had been custom made for this rifle by somebody. The barrel was made by Savage USA and the bore was pristine. It had a Williams match sight (worth almost the price of the rifle itself) and the barrel to stock fit was super tight.
And the trigger was a nice smooth pull. I'd put it at about 3-4 pounds. It's ugly as hell, but I have a feeling this will shoot the nuts off a fly at 100 yards.
Can't wait to take it to the range.
Oh....I'll be cleaning my safe again to try to make room for this Enfield.
