Just got a Gen 5 Glock 20

Just picked up a Gen 5 Glock 20. Just put the fist couple of mags down range. The trigger is way better than the Gen 3 and Gen 4?s I?m used to shooting. Great gun. The grip texture is quite nice too. The finger groves never bothered me but with out them the grip is a world better. Just ordered a FN 510 and 545 too. Gonna be a bit of a wait on those two though. Love big bore semi autos.

Forgot to ask, is the slide thicker? The G5 .40 caliber guns appear to have a thicker slide, wondered if they also beefed up the G20 slides.

I never really minded the Gen 3's until I bought the Gen 5's.

I am married to the 5's now.
