Conversations at the WalMart Ammo Counter

Yesterday I stopped at a Walmart Ammo Counter and picked up some 380 auto. While there one guy starts talking about a different ammo he likes and then we start talking about the guns we own in general. Nothing really specific. The lady behind the counter starts talking about the stupidity of the gun laws in California, the direction of the government and universal health care. There was another lady as well and everyone was pretty much of like mind around firearms, laws and the direction of the government.

I have a good job and have conversations all day with many different types of people.

As I walked out of Walmart, it dawned on me that this was the best conversation I've had as of late. At least during working hours. We talked about guns, ammo, change we CAN'T afford and what's coming down the road.

No one there was trying to tell me that Obama is god, healthcare is a right and that we should pay for everyone to have it.

In short, if you need your conservative/redneck/guntalk fix; the walmart ammo counter may not be a bad place to go.

That is the first good thing I have heard about people in Walmart. Everytime I go to Walmart it makes me sick to my stomach to see so many "interesting" people. I love it when certain minorities like to hang out in the parking lot and dance to their subwoofers. God I hate that place. The only thing they have going for them is their ammo

            WAL-MART GREETERS

At my age I get away with stuff you younger guys can't. When entering a Wal-Mart I pass by the greeter and say, "My --- ---- hemmoroids are killing me!" You would be surprised at the responses I get, like "Prep H is on 9" or just "Huh?". Getting old can be a hoot.

I almost crapped a brick the other night when I finally spotted a box of 7.62x39 cartridges on the shelf. Brass cased and non-magnetic - YES! Whoops, hold on, the price reads.....$14.96 for a box of 20?! Nuts. I'd shoot the wolf stuff at the local ranges, but for the @#$% anti-steel regulations. Looks like I'll be headin' to the desert instead when the temps cool. Glad to hear that there are some intelligent people at your walmart. Most of the ones at mine are a couple slices short of a loaf.

I too would like to know the location of your wal-mart. Mine, I would like to knock to the ground.

There must be some WalMarts that are in areas where the locals are undesirable. The WalMarts around here are full of normal looking people. Never seen anyone dancing in the parking lot.

There do seem to be some lower economic class people shopping there from time to time, but I figure they have to shop somewhere and WalMart usually has better prices than anywhere else. Can't blame them for taking advantage of the better prices.

I don't see any more WIC cards in the checkout lines there than at other supermarkets.

My benchmark for a half-decent Wal-Mart is if it has self-checkout registers.

No self-checkout? You're in the ghetto filled with ghetto-y people that would shoplift those pampers and detergent if they could.
