Yesterday I stopped at a Walmart Ammo Counter and picked up some 380 auto. While there one guy starts talking about a different ammo he likes and then we start talking about the guns we own in general. Nothing really specific. The lady behind the counter starts talking about the stupidity of the gun laws in California, the direction of the government and universal health care. There was another lady as well and everyone was pretty much of like mind around firearms, laws and the direction of the government.
I have a good job and have conversations all day with many different types of people.
As I walked out of Walmart, it dawned on me that this was the best conversation I've had as of late. At least during working hours. We talked about guns, ammo, change we CAN'T afford and what's coming down the road.
No one there was trying to tell me that Obama is god, healthcare is a right and that we should pay for everyone to have it.
In short, if you need your conservative/redneck/guntalk fix; the walmart ammo counter may not be a bad place to go.

Nuts. I'd shoot the wolf stuff at the local ranges, but for the @#$% anti-steel regulations.
Looks like I'll be headin' to the desert instead when the temps cool. Glad to hear that there are some intelligent people at your walmart. Most of the ones at mine are a couple slices short of a loaf.
