    CA DROS Question

    Is it true?

If you buy a pistol/riffle, you filled out the DROS. And on the 10th day you come and pickup your new toy. You can purchase another firearm(s) that very same day, and not have wait another 10days, and pay for another DROS?

    Thanks

Pistol, no. You are limited to one dealer handgun transaction ever 30 twenty-four hour periods.

There are no restrictions what so ever on riffles. I usually trade them with my friends.

Rifles or long guns are different. Here is a discussion about that here.

My contention is that a single firearms transaction is not over until the seller signs the 4473 on the day of pick up, therefore, you can add more long guns to the transaction until that time.

However, it is largely up to the individual dealer. If your dealer makes you restart a DROS, I don't fault them for it.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.

        This.

If you like the idea, then find a dealer who's willing.
