I'm stuck going to southern california for the christmas weekend and spending time in Disneyprison with a 4 year old and my wife. If I do manage to escape for a day, what are good places to visit in the area of Anaheim or LA to see or shoot guns? thanks.

If you want indoor ranges you can search the web and find literally dozens. If you're looking to shoot out doors I would suggest the Angeles Range. It's in the Angeles Mountains, nowhere near the city itself however.

There is also Burro Canyon Shooters Park, however I find Angeles more civilized...but Burro gets the job done too.

PS - I presume you brought your own guns? Neither of these ranges rent guns...for that you have to stick to indoor ranges mostly.

There aren't any good places in Anaheim to visit.
Are you looking for indoor or outdoor range?

There is close to Disneyheim:

The Firing Line (Huntington Beach)
Insight Shooting Range (Cerritos)
Evans (I'm boycotting them).

Then there is Burro Canyon & Los Angeles Crest for outdoor ranges but they are about 1-2 hours from Anaheim.
