Only $7.91? A while back "Guns N Stuff" in North Highlands gigged me more than that. A sh1tty tactic to "support your LGS" it seems...first and last business that guy ever gets from me.

I know about the safe affidavit; doesn't the lock have to be in possession when taking possession of a firearm?

Might be one of those instances where having the State regs printed out would be handy (or at being able to find them on the web.)

It wasn't a gun lock as the weapon picked up came with one. It was specifically tied to the LGS.

How about asking them to be truthful about why they are adding the extra charge?

It could be that they need the funds to help keep the lights on, especially since doing business in commiefornia is so very costly.

If such a small charge can help prevent losing a LGS, it's a win-win, in my opinion.
