I get the idea (it would have been better with a magazine) as a no paperwork DIY "precision" rifle. Personally I think that simplicity is why they went with a the scout mount. I like the idea and dislike the execution. IMHO the weight and barrel length are excessive and a better scope solution could have been found. the "Look" appeals to me because I've spent too long thinking like "Fallout" or other scenarios where cobbled together weapons are the only choice. The price is well above what I would pay for such a thing.
Ajax22 might like it (or something like it) for his films...

What a waste of an allen wrench though, he could've gone to pick-a-part and cut the shifter from a car instead.
Better yet, some shifter have a button on it (like the "economy over-ride" on my old Ford) and he could wire that for something "tacti-cool"!Comment
