Can I Shoot on BLM Land in Riverside County?

I would like to shoot on BLM land and have found plenty of great spots to go. I just would like to know what is legal and what is not in the areas of specifically Temecula, Winchester, Sage, Hemet, Aguanga, and surrounding areas.

Does anyone have any guidance on this? I have called all of the local city offices as well as mostly all of the county offices and can't get a straight answer from anyone.

Gonna need to contact BLM. Their land, their rules. But last I heard there was a ban everywhere south of the high desert due to fire risk. Not sure if it ever got lifted.

Since you plan on shooting in Western Riverside County, you need to review Riverside County Ordinance 514.

AFAIK all of the areas in Riverside county have closed down in the past decade such as Christmas Tree lane. There might be some areas in San Diego county that are open, but I'm not familiar with them.

Bee Canyon in Hemet is the only spot in Riverside county thats still open. You have to catch it between fire season and the rainy season though.

Best advice for visiting Bee Canyon is to bring trash bags to police up your targets/trash when you're done. Even better, bring extra bags to clean up the mess left behind by the slobs that were there before you.

None of us like cleaning up after others, but the inevitable result is losing public shooting spots due to safety and environmental hazards caused by all the trash.

Never ending state of crisis is the new normal. Just one of the many ways the jovermment takes control which will never be relinquished. It would not be in the best interest of Government to have a crime free ,self governing , responsible society . They would be putting themselves out of a job . They need crime , chaos , and mayhem to exist in order to justify the liberty restricting laws they impose on the public because of crimes of a few . They create the suppressive environments that create the need to commit criminal acts which create the need gor the laws which punish ALL of society instead of holding the individual responsible.
