I'm about tired of waiting for my Glock 50 ~

Ok Glock what is the deal with producing a Glock 17 - 10+1 capacity 45acp pistol.

Glock has produced the following -
    G21, G21sf, G40 the long slide 21

    G30, G30s, G30sf

    G 36 ( the slim 6+1 )

Glock makes all kinds of Glocks, except a slim ( G17 like ) full size pistol. What's the deal Glock.

PS - also I want my 3 magazines when I buy a Glock, just like you do to other out of state buyers

The first thing Glock needs to do is right their God awful wrong of providing nothing but 10 round mags for the 44. Their excuse of not being able to make the gun reliable with higher capacity mags is utter BS. What they are saying is they are not capable of doing what Taurus was able to achieve. Now I don’t include other higher capacity 22 handguns like the Sig P322 or the Beretta 92-22 because they are traditional fixed barrel more 22 like then center fire like, like the Glock and Taurus are. But still Taurus can do it and you can’t Glock…come on.

Glock 37, 38, and 39. Small Glock frame with 45ACP performance.

I can't defend Glock not making a double stack magazine for their 44 but I wouldn't put Taurus on a pedestal. I had a TX-22 (if that's the pistol you're using as the comparison) and it was not reliable. It worked well enough with premium high velocity ammo like CCI stingers but it it still wasn't "life depends on it" reliable. With high velocity ammo- not premium stuff- it was picky and would stovepipe or fte once or twice every few magazines. It tended to malfunction in the final five or so rounds.

I have a GSG 1911-22 which is notorious for poor performance with anything other than premium high velocity ammo, and it runs far more reliably on bulk .22 than the TX-22 did on the good stuff.

I sold the TX-22 for $20 less than I paid for it, including a total of 5 factory magazines. It might have been a lemon but it sounded me on Taurus's double stack .22.

I bought a KelTec P-17 and it's been a great pistol with zero malfs from day 1 in spite of looking and feeling like a cheap airsoft replica.

So, if keltec can do it, Glock sure as hell should be able to.

That would be a "Glock 50+." For those who don't want to give up 1911, but they sort of want to go the plastic route. A low-capacity high-caliber concept that used to be quite popular last century.

I own the Glock 21, 30, and 36, but how happy I would be to get a Glock 45acp the size of the G17 with a 10+ 1 capacity.

It would certainly fill the G21 / 1911 craze I got going on.

                        Two things;

                        1) Glock does not have to make mags for other markets.

                        2) GSSF divisions call for ten or less rounds per string, since the G44 mostly is to get entry level shooters into shooting and competition, it sort of makes sense.

I did a lot of research on all of them, hours of U-tube vids. The Taurus had by far the best reviews. I do remember a couple of negative ones, one in particular were a guy was having feeding problems. He disassembled and cleaned the inside of his mags and it was a night and day difference. Also saw a vid were a guy used seven of them in his firearms training school and had over 225,000 combined rounds through them. Both the Taurus and the Sig had major barrel leading problems with the early run guns, Taurus also had a problem with the slide breaking were the recoil spring sits. They revamped the recoil spring to fix that problem.

A lot of negative reviews on the G44, some people just hated it. Military Arms channel guy and 22 plinker bashed it. But it’s my favorite out of the three, most like a ‘real’ gun and built to last. The Glock mags and even more so with the Sig mags take attention when loading, if you seat a casing wrong it will cause a failure to feed, once you understand this it’s not really an issue. The Taurus mags aren’t as finicky, really well designed.

I’ve seen alot of good reviews on the Kel Tec too, if I ever run into one I’ll probably pick it up, they seem to be out of stock everywhere. I’ll take an OD green one. Ha ha
