We are greatly disappointed that AMMO BROS ENGAGED IN AN UNFAIR LABOR PRACTICE, intimidating and surveilling workers and harming our ability to get a fair contract. As such the employees are conducting an Unfair Labor Practice strike.

We, the sales associates & cashiers of Ammo Bros Cerritos ask that for the duration of our strike YOU RESPECT OUR PICKET LINE & SHOP ELSEWHERE. Thank you.

Their union endorses and contributes to some of the most anti gun democrats in California!

So is this an early April Fool's joke or a belated April Fool's joke?

Because I can't think of too many reasons that counter-jockeys at a general retail chain gun shop, with the collective work-experience of a high-school aged Starbuck's Barrista, really need to be part of a union or require support from the same to re-mold their workday which will result in any meaningful benefit.

Talk about fools... owning a gun shop is a career. A gunsmith at a gun shop is a career. Managing a gun shop MIGHT be a career - but slinging wares at the counter is a temporary job, just a notch above flipping burgers and selling comic books.

Sure, you don't need a COE to say "Do you want some fries with that?" but it's not an extreme skill to be able to teach someone to say "Do you want some ammo with that?".

    Ridiculous.

Pull in the unions to gun stores, and those burger-flippers are going to regret it: pull in an Anti-2nd Amendment union into gun stores, and you'll really regret the anti-2nd Amendment 'workplace safety' and accreditation legislation they'll eventually pitch and seek to mandate.

You'll just likely end up capping your potential pay AND the union will will be reaching into your picket for dues. A scam no matter how they frame it.

These 'fools' will be inviting the very scourge that seeks to put them out of a job. I can't think of any more efficient way to worsen your working situation and hinder your working environment while doing the proverbial shooting yourself in the foot.

I believed you - I was essentially feigning false search for meaning, because it's so ridiculous, so foolish, it's on par with an April Fool's Day joke... on themselves.

Unions and politicians won't stop until every last job is unionized and the poor rubes are paying union dues. When I was younger a job in fast food was something that high school kids did for pocket change. It takes a special kind of retard to join a union that supports politicians that want to kill your industry.

If you want better pay, don't work at a gun store that doesn't release on undetermined. That's a lot of income they are giving up, hence having less money to pay you with.

It's tough to do business in California as it is, with the high taxes and ridiculous laws that stifle business in this state and are getting only more onerous by the day.

I’ll go buy something. It’s a little distance but worth it for the cause. Question though, is carrying concealed crossing the picket line violate the law? My understanding is it’s only illegal if you’re attending or participating in the picketing.

I can’t believe the employees are doing this. This is dumb. They just push the prices up so high that people won’t go there anyways. Too many options. I hope the other locations have more intelligence.

When I went in yesterday the cashier said it was only one guy picketing and the rest were paid union shills. I mean ammobros employees have some terrible CS so maybe this is a wake-up call to ammobros to hire better people

                        I’ll support them.

Would like to hear from Ammo Bros what’s happening

Probably illegal and would cost Ammo Bros more $ than it saves.

Well this is a novel way to shut down gun stores. Ammo Bros. should take a lesson from President Reagan.
